Session 3: Exercising your faith muscle  

Session 3 looks at Mark 5:21-42 (where Jesus heals a women with a chronic condition & brings Jairus' daughter back to life) and explores what it means to actively trust God.

There is a teaching video for each age group and some optional activities for Groups to use (Pick 'n' Mix style) to engage further with the teaching theme. 

 For Groups wanting to use music during a session (e.g. for sung worship or prayerful reflection) we have drawn together a playlist of  popular worship songs that link into the theme of 'Faith not Fear'. Additionally there is a  bespoke children's song for each session.

Speaker Biographies

	Originally from Chicago, Sandy Clarke is a training minister in the South of England. She was a Senior Families Minister for 14 years before God called her to ordained ministry. Sandy has two kids and loves to walk or visit the beach. She is known for her American catchphrases, "oh my days!" and "that's awesome!".
	Eliot Ambrose coordinates sports in schools. He is married to Becca, and loves teaching children and young people about Jesus. He has a pun-tastic sense of humour, and enjoys all sport.
