Designated Safeguarding Lead
Keeping young people safe is a priority for Urban Saints. The Designated Safeguarding Lead will hold strategic oversight of all aspects of safeguarding across Urban Saints. They will work closely in partnership with Urban Saints team members working directly with young people, as well as engaging with the Safer Recruitment team. The Designated Safeguarding Lead is accountable for safeguarding as part of the Urban Saints national leadership team.
We are looking for someone who is strongly committed to the task of keeping young people safe in a youth work context. You will be a self-motivated individual who has experience of safeguaring in different settings, including in a leadership context. The person we are looking for will be confident in understanding latest safeguarding policy and practice developments. You will be able to provide support, both to volunteer Leaders and to paid team members, as well as being able to speak at senior team and Board level to champion safeguarding.
Location: Hybrid (primarily work from home, and occasionally at Urban Saints Support Centre, Crescent Road, Luton)
Hours: Part time (15 hours a week)
Remuneration: Up to £40,000 p/a (pro rata) (depending on knowledge, skills, and experience)

Regional Prayer Coordinators
Prayer is already at the heart of everything we do but we sense a strong call from God to grow this area of our ministry, raising up increasing prayer cover for the 1000’s of young people and leaders we serve across the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for people who love prayer, are highly organised and want to make an impact at a regional level. You will bring the best out of a region in prayer, and be responsible for the support, delivery and development of prayer and prayer groups across a region.
We are particularly looking for Regional Prayer Coordinators to cover the following regions:
- South East of England
- South London
Location: Home based
Hours: Part time
