We hope you are well and managing to stay safe in these strange times of Covid. It is that time of the year again when we write to the Members of Urban Saints and the first thing we want to do is say a BIG thank you for all you do in supporting the work of helping young people become disciples of Jesus. You may be involved in a variety of ways e.g. praying, giving, leading a group or camp - you are all very much appreciated as you work in partnership with us as Trustees. We would also like to say welcome to those of you from new groups who have joined as Members since last year. We really do welcome you to the Urban Saints’ family.
As Members we rely on you to nominate people who you think would be good in the role of Trustee to make sure that the organisation moves forward with good governance and help the staff team to work out the strategy as we move forward.
Trustee Director application process
This is a key time for Urban Saints as we explore where God is leading us for the future. We need people who are willing to join the Board of Trustees to bring their experience, gifting and wisdom to the important decisions that are being made. Please do prayerfully consider getting involved in this yourself or nominate another Member that you think would be an asset to the Board. Everyone who is nominated will be considered, but we are particularly looking for experience from people with gifting in HR; Finance, Fundraising and those representing the 18-25 age group.
Any Member wishing to stand for election as a Trustee, or wishing to nominate someone else, should in the first instance, email: nominations@urbansaints.org to register their interest and request an information pack which contains an Expression of Interest form and a Trustee role description.
It may be helpful for potential applicants to speak with a current Trustee in order to understand more about the role. If you are considering applying, and don't know any of the current Trustees, please let us know and we will put you in contact with one of them. Interest in becoming a Trustee must be registered through the nominations email by 10th August 2020.
