Are you a survivor of abuse?

We are committed to ensuring that any risk to those in our care is promptly identified and responded to safely. We are also committed to supporting those who may have been impacted by non-recent abuse, to provide space for those experiences to be spoken about.
Our hearts break when we discover any instance of abuse, and we acknowledge the deep pain, frustration and sense of injustice survivors may feel. We recognise the ongoing impact that abuse can have on a individual’s life.
We would encourage victims of abuse (impacted through the activities of Urban Saints), whether recent or non-recent, to report any abuse to the police on 101. You can also contact thirtyone:eight* (0303 003 1111, option 2), who can offer advice. If you would prefer to contact Urban Saints directly, you can contact Claire Murphy, who leads the Safeguarding Team, on 01582 589855 or safeguarding@urbansaints.org. (In Claire’s absence, another member of the Safeguarding Team will respond.)

*Thirtyone:eight are an independent safeguarding charity that advice and support faith organisations on safeguarding. The thirtyone:eight helpline is staffed by a team of caring and experienced professionals who are here to listen and to help guide and advise.
