We are so excited to be bringing back our full Camps programme face-to-face this year, across all four nations. It has been fantastic to hear from the Easter House Party teams in Ireland and we can’t wait to experience God at work across all Camps this summer. Bookings have been flying in with a number of Camps fully booked earlier than ever before.
Sprees are back after a two-year break. There will be four running and we know so many groups are really looking forward to heading away with their young people again. Let’s hear what Becca Ambrose, Impact Team Leader – Scotland, has to say about the Spree running in the Scottish Borders:
“We're so pleased to be able to run Spree in the Borders again. We have heard many group leaders express their excitement that they can once again bring their young people to a Camp which caters so well for churched and unchurched young people alike. This year we have a fantastic teaching programme and excellent speakers for 8-15s, plus the usual adventurous activities.
“One group leader who hasn't attended before said she was just so grateful that a residential exists which takes the focus off youth leaders’ planning and allows them to focus on continuing to build deeper relationships with their young people – especially in the aftermath of Covid. Some leaders are rebuilding their groups after a rocky couple of years, while others have maintained their youth work throughout, but either way Spree will be a highlight of their year.”
After Sprees finish, we head into a full programme across the school summer holidays - from family Camps to awesome Camps for 9 to 18 year olds. If you are fortunate there might be a few spaces left at some Camps – head to www.urbansaints.org/camps to find out more.
We would love to have hundreds of prayer supporters this summer as we know prayer changes situations. We are so excited that many children and young people will hear the gospel message and we pray that they will come to know Jesus as Saviour and embrace life in all its fullness.
