Be a Christmas party hero and donate your unused Christmas party budgets to Urban Saints.
#xmaspartyheroes are calling on individuals and businesses to help charities by donating the cost of their unused Christmas party budgets at this very challenging time. If you are able to, you can help us keep going for young people across the UK and Ireland.
You will become an instant Urban Saints Christmas party hero and will be helping put Christ back into Xmas.
Why give to Urban Saints?
In March, we took the decision to keep going and not furlough our Impact Team Leaders and Support Centre. We continued supporting young people through some of the most trying times of their lives. God has been faithful; children and young people have continued to meet online and are experiencing the life-changing journey of following Jesus in weekly Groups and summer Camps.
‘Even though we missed out on everything else - Urban Saints was still there.’
Mandy, Northern Ireland
Unfortunately, a number of supporters have had to reduce their giving due to COVID-19 and with four weeks to go this year, we face a deficit of £160,000.
If COVID-19 has cancelled your Christmas party, and you are able to, will you donate your unused Christmas party budgets to Urban Saints?
Many ways to be a Christmas Party Hero
You can help us keep going by donating:
- The budget from your Christmas Party
- The same amount that you would have spent on corporate gifts
- The money you would have spent on Secret Santa
- The cost of Christmas cards
- Anything you can spare at this time of year
What is #xmaspartyheroes?
Christmas Party Heroes (#xmaspartyheroes) is a nationwide initiative to encourage businesses and individuals to give their unused Christmas party budgets and similar festive costs to worthy causes. It doesn't cost Urban Saints anything to take part and you don't have to sign up for anything yourself. All they ask is that you help spread the word to friends and family using the #xmaspartyheroes tag on social media.
