Children and young people are a fundamental part of Camp life here at Studland; friendships are formed, memories built and there is the opportunity to grow faith and enjoy a deeper relationship with God.
We wanted so much to see everyone this year and so it's with much sadness that we are sharing the news that we will not be able to run the following Camps in 2020 - Dorset Venture, Purbeck Venture and Chattabox.
At this time, we are still hoping we might be able to run the Family Camps in some form, and so have deferred the decision on running these until further guidance is received from the government. The Leaders of these Camps will be in touch with those booked on with more information.
Camps are not only a highlight of the year for the young people but also the Leaders too. The decision to cancel some of the Camps is one that deeply saddens everyone involved; but considering the current circumstances and government guidelines we trust you understand.
However, summer wouldn't be summer if we didn't reinvent the wheel and do something different. Each of the Camps that are unable to run are considering alternative plans and we really hope you take the opportunity to engage with the activities on offer from each Camp.
