Saturday training workshop mornings exploring the themes of identity and belonging, including discussion on gender, sexuality, additional needs, physical disability and a variety of other issues
Following the success of our day conference at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster, in March 2018, we are taking BOOST 2018 on the road.
The training mornings will be delivered at locations across the South East for children's and youth workers, volunteers and church leaders to explore together how we can welcome and allow children and young people to truly belong in our ministries while they are wrestling with some of the most challenging areas of their identity - be those questions coming from within or caused by external factors. There will be a particular focus on issues around gender, sexuality, additional needs and physical disability, but all viewed through the practical lens of how we can ensure that every child, young person and family can be welcomed and included in our practice no matter what they consider to be part of their identity.
