DBS Update Service

You can now register your DBS with the DBS Update Service – this will not happen automatically!

Registering with the Update Service is quick and easy. It means your DBS record will always be kept up-to-date and you can give permission for any authorised organisation or employer to access your DBS records online in the future without having to obtain a new DBS disclosure each time.

To take advantage of this you must register your new DBS within 28 days of the date of issue, and it is free for volunteers. We strongly recommend that EVERYONE registers their new DBS with the Update service as this will make it much easier for you to volunteer in the future...and you should never have to go through the process of obtaining a new DBS again!

Click here for more information: https://www.gov.uk/dbs-update-service

If you are registered with the online DBS Update Service and want to give your consent for Urban Saints to carry out a check, please click the link below to download the consent form. Please note this is only available to people who have already registered with the DBS Update Service.
