With thousands of children, young people, volunteers and parents/carers interacting with us, we wanted to reassure all those involved with Urban Saints that we are taking this matter very seriously and making appropriate plans. In everything by Prayer. Whatever the circumstances, we can demonstrate to others how our outlook is so different with Christ.
In response to the instruction of the Prime Minister on 23rd March, the following arrangements should now be in place:
It is with great regret back in March that all Urban Saints Groups and Energize Plus Groups were told to suspend face-to-face meetings.
We are continually reviewing the latest government updates (for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) regarding COVID-19 and social distancing measures.
We are providing guidance to Groups on their ability to organise face-to-face meet ups between Group Leaders and young people as this becomes possible. These updates are available in the Leaders' Area.
We hope and pray that this virus passes quickly and we can get back to meeting together again soon.
Sprees will not be running in 2020. Easter and Whit Camps were cancelled and we have cancelled the majority of our summer Camps now too. In some cases we have deferred a decision, for review in the coming weeks.
