We know that deciding to bring a group away on an Overseas Adventure is a huge commitment. It is also a unique and transformative experience too and one that you won't want to miss out on.

We expect you will have plenty of questions before you can make up your mind. Our friendly and professional team will provide you with a full project pack for your chosen Adventure but even before that, we usually find there are some key questions that group organisers want to address before they go any further.


Here are the most common questions about our Overseas Adventures:

Can individuals book on to an Adventure or do you have to be part of a group?

Urban Saints' Overseas Adventures are designed to be experienced as part of a group. The vast majority of those who come along have been coordinated by a group leader - either as part of a church youth group or school party. Individuals can book on to some Adventures but you will need to check availability when enquiring. Group leaders bringing a number of young people with them can always be accommodated and this is the best way to guarantee your places.

What's included in the price of our Overseas Adventure?

Our prices include pretty much everything - including flights. Any project fees will be included as well as travel and accommodation once in your chosen destination. The exceptions to this might include some visas, additional excursions, spending money and any immunisations you might require. Travel to your departing airport in the UK is also not included.

Are the Adventures safe?

Absolutely. We work with trusted and experienced partner organisations in the chosen destinations we're visiting. Accommodation is often in either secure compounds or campsites to ensure the safety of travelling groups. Our Urban Saints' team will have visited and checked each project we undertake as part of our rigorous safety and compliance policies. Your group - and the young people in your group - are in very safe hands with Urban Saints.

What insurance is in place?

Comprehensive travel and health insurance is included in the price of the Overseas Adventures. We also offer the peace of mind that comes from ATOL protection.

Do you offer any fundraising support?

The prospect of raising many thousands of pounds to bring a group away can be pretty daunting. However, we offer tried and tested advice on the best way to go about raising the necessary funds. We also have found over the years that starting as early as possible really helps to achieve the target - which is one of the reasons why we tend to have our booking window open at least 15 months before the Adventure commences.

Do we have to pay our fees all at once?

We do require deposits from everyone at the point of application. This is to guarantee the necessary places required and to allow us to book flights at the cheapest possible prices. However, after this, we are very happy for groups and individuals to pay their remaining balances in stages and we can be flexible about how many stages you might need too.

What other support do we receive from Urban Saints?

Our partner organisations based in your chosen Adventure's destination take care of the projects we visit and make sure we are hosted and looked after in-country. The Urban Saints team is here to make it as easy possible for you to book, prepare and support your group on your Adventure. We can help with promotional materials, briefing parents, giving advice and encouragement about fundraising, arranging travel and even providing training so that your group will be ready for what they are going to experience.
