The North East Region
What is the North East Region? Where are its boundaries and who is involved?
The North East Region is an amalgamation of the previous areas of North East; North Yorkshire and Cleveland; and Yorkshire.

The region stretches from just south of Sheffield to the Scottish Border, and from the East Coast across to the Pennines. That’s about ten thousand square miles of beautiful countryside, majestic coastline, vibrant cities and picturesque villages. Let’s face it – we have it all in the North East, and more besides.

Our main aim in the region is to serve Urban Saints groups meeting throughout Yorkshire, Teesside, County Durham and Northumberland. The way we do that is by having a team of Regional Volunteers and partnership churches working together. These are overseen by a Regional Director employed by Urban Saints.
