Steph Kailou is a 22-year-old singer songwriter, who has been leading worship since she was 15. She has spent a year with Soul Survivor and has led the worship team at her church, Global Generation Church, in Ramsgate since 2005. 'Mountain Song', recorded with Urban Saints as part of their 'Songs of the Saints' project, is her first studio album. The 'Songs of the Saints' project aims to discover, encourage and develop young musical talent - musicias who live and model God-honouring lifetsyles. In 2006, Urban Saints released 'Volume 1' as a result of a movement-wide song-writing competition but with 'Mountain Song', Steph represents the first artist to record their own album with Urban Saints.

Steph, on her website, describes the album as "coming from a longing to go deeper in worship whatever place we find ourselves on God's mountain". Steph is passionate about the local church and seeing us become more effective in loving and serving our friends and community like Jesus did.

In 2005 we launched a national song-writing contest inviting young people to express their love and passion for Jesus Christ through song.
