Urban Saints National Six-a-Side Football Tournament has been cancelled, however we do not want you keen footballers to miss out on a great day so we have made new arrangements!
The new regional event will now take place at Tewkesbury School Ashchurch Road, Tewkesbury, GL20 8DF (just off junction 9 on the M5).

Practical training for all those who want to see children and young people develop a faith that sticks. Delivered by Urban Saints in partnership with Scripture Union.
Life long disciples of Jesus - that is what we all want for the children and young people we know. So how come so many of them give up on their faith during their teenage or early adult years?
The Sticky Faith tour explores what strategies we can put in place to help our children and young peoples' faith matures.

Our partners DNA are launching a regional base for the midlands in October 2013!
DNA are hosting an afternoon gathering on 28 May to share heart and vision for church leaders; starting with lunch at 1pm; ending at 4pm at St Martins' House, Leicester. We would strongly encourage you to be able to be there on that day, and we'd encourage you to perhaps even bring one or two people with you who you feel may be suited for DNA for this October? This part time, home based role provides support to the Midlands Regional Director.
We’re looking to recruit a Support Worker for the Midlands Region. This 8 hours a week role will involve providing support to the Regional Director. Duties will include collating new stories, organising events, keeping databases up to date, acting as a point of contact for prayer requests, providing administrative support to the Regional Steering Group (sending out agendas etc).

So, you want to know the top five reasons why you should come to Shine?
1. You are beautiful!! In fact, you were made in the image of Christ and He loves you more than you can possibly ever imagine. So come as you are, as He wants you to be unconditionally blessed! ("God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love - not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4:9-10)
2. You are not an accident! You were born with a purpose and a destiny, and God has a desire to see you embrace this by exploring your gifts and talents! ("For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11)
3. You are not meant to be alone! God's greatest desire is to have a relationship with you, and for you to have fun and fellowship with others. So come and make new friends at Shine!! ("For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them." Matthew 18:20)
4. You are treasured! God wants you to claim your inheritance in heaven and be blessed on earth, so allow us to shower you in love and blessings! ("Praise be God. In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade." 1 Peter 1:3-4)
