So, you want to know the top five reasons why you should come to Shine?
1. You are beautiful!! In fact, you were made in the image of Christ and He loves you more than you can possibly ever imagine. So come as you are, as He wants you to be unconditionally blessed! ("God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love - not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." 1 John 4:9-10)
2. You are not an accident! You were born with a purpose and a destiny, and God has a desire to see you embrace this by exploring your gifts and talents! ("For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11)
3. You are not meant to be alone! God's greatest desire is to have a relationship with you, and for you to have fun and fellowship with others. So come and make new friends at Shine!! ("For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them." Matthew 18:20)
4. You are treasured! God wants you to claim your inheritance in heaven and be blessed on earth, so allow us to shower you in love and blessings! ("Praise be God. In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade." 1 Peter 1:3-4)
5. You are so worthy! God doesn't just want to give you 'the basics'. He doesn't want to give you 'just standard'. He wants you to have the best, in fact all the riches in heaven. We believe we have found a little slice of heaven in the Derbyshire's hills, where you can relax and be yourself, whilst admiring the wonder and beauty of God's creation.
