We will be running 8 tours (and going to nearly 50 locations). If you go to the Re:Act website you will see a map and details of the tours. The teams for all tours will spend 3 inspirational days together at the training residential in Harpenden, Herts before launching out into the Re:Act action days. We have fixed dates for most locations now, and have just a few vacancies. If your location is interested please email Bernie Wheeler (see link below) as soon as possible on to avoid disappointment!
National training days planned for Re:Act delivery team roles
We are running training for specific team roles on 2 dates: Sat 26th April – for roles like evangelists, road team managers and prayer co-ordinators Mon 16th June – for roles like bands, roadshow hosts and team pastors.
Some other roles may also be covered. If you are involved in either a local planning team or area delivery team then this training could be for you. If you want to know further details then please contact Bernie Wheeler.
Want to know how to do friendship evangelism? - Help is at hand…. Urban Saints have produced a DVD training resource on friendship evangelism, to help church congregations prepare for and maximise the effectiveness of mission in your locality. The DVD is written and delivered by Pete Gilbert from DNA. The DVD includes 6 x 45 minute sessions which are ideal for use in church home groups or cell groups. This is not just for Re:Act locations but would anyway be a valuable resource. If you would like to order a DVD pack, please contact Bernie Wheeler.
Prayer walking and more - Prayer is not only a Re:Act value but vital for the whole mission. A National Re:Act prayer walk is going to be organised in the Cotswolds area (around the summer half-term holiday period) followed by 8 separate weeks of designated prayer for each tour. More details later meanwhile please watch this space for more details!
The Prayer Room is up and running at Kestin House Luton and available for registered locations to visit and book for use. Each location is asked to have a prayer strategy for their Re:Act day and nationally we are looking to raise our game concerning Re:Act in prayer. If you want more information please contact Bernie Wheeler.
