Equip Them To Influence Their World
A new book is available to help young people to be agents of change for God, especially in school or college - preparing them to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ... whenever, wherever!!

We all know people who have made a difference for God in their world, in their time. People willing to be a positive influence in society, bringing radical, positive change in the places where they hang out.

But what about now? And what about your young people? If you and your young people are tired of luke-warm faith that doesn’t change the world, then Urban Saints' new book, Influencers, is just what you’ve been looking for.

Influencers is written by Matt Summerfield and Chris Evans and is also available as an online version, through the Energize website (called 'Insiders'). Each chapter is divided into sections that include tasks to perform, things to think about, and lots of stuff to chat about with a mentor (that’s probably you as their youth leader)

Areas covered include:
- Dreaming God shaped dreams
- Spirit: empowered impact
- Living as a kingdom citizen
- Counting the cost of radical living
- Serving people
- The art of influencing
- Disciplines to change your life

Influencers promises to be fun and challenging and is available from all good bookshops as well as directly from Urban Saints, priced £8.99.

Chris Evans is co-ordinator of the St.Albans and Harpenden Christian Education Project (STEP). STEP is a collaborative local church initiative designed to see Christianity relevantly and positively represented in secondary schools. Its activities break down the spiritual/secular divide and model and encourage a relevant and active Christianity which is as much needed in the classroom and the corridor as in the church. STEP seeks to present this Christianity to all pupils, challenging them to live life the way the creator intended.
