| This Saturday (May 19th) is a big day for Urban Saints. During the day, we are in London for the 3rd annual Youthwork Summit at Jesus House. Then in the evening, we are part of the Big Night Out event at Lightwater Valley in North Yorkshire! |

Youthwork Summit
A day where ideas and stories change your world. Forget what you thought a youth work event was. YWS is different.
If you’ve never been to a Youthwork Summit event, it’s time to join the party. Since 2010, we’ve been organising a unique annual one-day convention for every kind of Christian involved in every kind of work with young people. Why unique? Because over the course of just one day, you’ll hear more than 20 diverse voices presenting their big ideas about Christian youth work. For 5, 10… 15 minutes at the most, we ask a mix of world-leading experts and grass roots practitioners to take to the stage for a series of high-impact presentations – then create an atmosphere of interaction and engagement to ensure their ideas are accessed and developed by our delegates.
Tickets cost £30 - and can be bought online at the Summit website and on the door on the day!
Big Night Out
The largest Christian youth event in the north east of England! Once a year we take over Lightwater Valley Theme Park near Ripon for an amazing evening of exclusive use of the rides, followed by top class Christian bands & entertainment!
Best of all, we can offer this at a price way below the normal entrance costs, so you get the best of all worlds! The entry fee on the door is £16 per person (cash & cheque only on the door) and entry to the park is from 5:45pm.
At the 2012 Big Night Out, in partnership with the Church of England, Scripture Union and The Boy's Brigade, we're delighted to welcome The Chip Kendall band and DJ Galactus Jack to perform! |
