I hope that you are well and managed to get a good break over Christmas and New Year.
I’m writing to let you know about some team changes that have taken effect in Urban Saints’ South East Region from 1st January 2010. Like many charities at this time, we are needing to cut our cloth according to the resources available to the ministry and with in mind I regret to inform you that Gary Mann is moving on from Urban Saints. Gary has been a blessing and encouragement to so many leaders and groups across the region over the years and he will be sorely missed.
We remain 100% committed to the development of the work across the South East Region and therefore the role of South East Regional Director will be shared between John Fudge and Phil Hulks (each giving at least 50% of their time to the Region).
John will be focused on continuing to grow the volunteer community across the Region, ensuring that all of our volunteers are equipped and supported in the various roles they perform. Phil will be responsible for developing the activity programme for Groups across the Region. Please pray for Phil and John as they seek to bring continued momentum to the growth and impact of youth and children’s missionary outreach across the South East Region.
Please also pray for Gary, that he would have peace in this time of transition and quickly find a great job.
Thank you so much for your continued support and engagement with Urban Saints. These are challenging days for sure, but we believe that together we can really make a difference in seeing the good news of Jesus brought to thousands more children and young people across the South East Region and beyond.
