Age Group: 8 - 14*.
We will meet inside the Link Centre for lunch between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm (bring a packed lunch). There are a range of options on offer during the afternoon, including the large leisure pool, ice-skating rink, ten-pin bowling and badminton/5-a-side soccer/basketball in the gym. To see the different option combinations and costs please download the 'Options' PDF which will be available below by the end of September. In the late afternoon we will all drive up to a nearby church where we will provide hot dogs and ice-cream plus our great inter-group quiz with fantastic prizes! We finish at about 8:00 pm.
* Please do not bring any under 8s to the event, but if you have a young person who is just 15 and part of a friendship group where most are 14 and under, then it is not a problem to bring them.
BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS - ALL EVENTS.
Please do not just turn up at an event! We need to know in advance that you are coming so please use the system below to book your group in.
- For each event we provide an A4 flier in Microsoft Word format (with space to add you own travel/cost details) and a parental consent form also in Word format. These can be downloaded below.
- Keep the Consent Forms returned to you by parents and bring them to the event in case you need to contact parents urgently or have to take a child to casualty (let's hope not!).
- Keep all monies paid to you by parents and bring the total payment for your group - including leaders - to the event in cash.
- To book you group into an event there is no paperwork to fill out - it is all done on-line! If you would like to come to any of the events then please use the web link to our on-line spreadsheet which is given in the monthly SW Urban Saints email updates sent to leaders (it isn't posted here for security reasons). When you have the link and open the spreadsheet, please add your group's details in the next available line. If you can't fill in the final numbers straight away it's not a problem as you can go back any time and add/amend your details. When you have finished entering data click on 'File' in the Menu bar at the top and then choose 'Save and close' - if this option is not available it means your changes have been saved automatically. If you have any problems using the spreadsheet please don't hesitate to email Brian Spurling for help.
- A week or so before each event we will contact all groups that have booked in and give out any final details of prices, locations of venues and any other important information.
