Summer Madness
At the start of the Summer Urban Saints took to the road as we headed for Summer Madness...
Summer Madness for those who are unfamiliar with it is Ireland's largest Christian festival, one with which i hold in high regard (although i am a bit biased as it is the place i gave my life to Christ). The festival lasts for 5 days.

The programme is Jam packed with something for everyone, great speakers (main speaker this year was Andy Hickford, an excellent communicator of God's word) and seminars covering a wide range of topics such as a mens only and girls only stream, loving your loyalist/nationalist neighbours, discovering your leadership potential and much much more. Lively and uplifting worship, all the latest up and coming Christian artists along with the usual programme of activities including this year outdoor Lazer quest, zorbing, football comps, dodgeball tournments and again much more.

We as Urban Saints had a great opportunity to join with the Church of Ireland Youth Department (CIYD) as they along with Youthlink ran their Connect Cafe for youth leaders. This was truly a blessing to join this team and exhibit some of the resources available through Urban Saints. It was a great opportunity to meet loads of youth leaders and chat and share about our work and vision.

At this years festival it was great to bump into and chat to a number of our own Urban Saints groups all of whom seemed to be having a great time of encouragement and blessing. (maybe next year we could get a few more along)

Here are a few thoughts from some ofthis years campers -
