What's more, it will change your own life too & the life of your group members!
ReBuild is an eleven-day experience where you build a new home for a poor family in Mexico or South Africa, right from the foundations upwards, in a few short days using just hand tools! Then you can hand over the keys and see the reaction as you literally change one family's lives forever! Up for the challenge?!
On top of this, you'll have the chance to experience church in a completely different culture, the opportunity to be stretched in your faith and grow in your character & the satisfaction of serving a community of people in various ways as well as the building work itself. You'll also have the opportunity to help with games and crafts for the local children, who are all hugely enthusiastic and great fun! In addition, you’ll have some time to explore the country you're serving and see some of the sights too!
ReBuild South Africa will run again in July 2017. Bookings will open in Autumn 2016.
In January 2017, 15-30 year-olds from around the world will converge in the Yucatan Peninsula to:
Build Family is a shared experience of cross-cultural mission for your family, designed to provide practical help to the local people in Mexico while raising awareness in your family of issues around poverty and justice through direct exposure to the poverty in Mexican culture. Although the trip will change the lives of many local people, the goal of this project is to encourage you to understand the reality of poverty through participation, and that you can make a difference in your own neighbourhoods back home. We hope that this shared experience of Build Family will transform your family too.
Build Hope is an incredible opportunity for students to safely travel overseas, engage with Mexican culture, build a house for a family trapped by poverty and transform their own life in the process.
Our Build projects in Mexico and South Africa are run in partnership with Amor Ministries.
Urban Saints ReBuild trips and all flights included in Rebuild trips are financially protected by the ATOL scheme (ATOL number 10702).
